For the lover of tapirs. The porcelain brooch pin is made by flattening a small ball of porcelain clay, stamping a hand carved outline of a tapir into the clay, painting over a layer of black underglaze and etching away the glaze on the un-impressed portions of the clay to reveal the print. Additional details are hand painted and the piece is finished with a glossy glaze and accented with 22k gold.
Each pin is attached to a silver toned brooch pin. The backs of the pins are unglazed.
Each creation is handmade and comes with its own perfect imperfections. Your piece will be selected at random and may not be the one pictured.
