A little guardian on a slab built dish. Reminiscent of Japanese zen gardens, these dishes were made using square slabs of speckled stoneware that were marked with a wooden comb-like tool. Each corner is then curled upward. Fired to a max temperature of 1210c and accented with 22k gold.
